Vaimbora Films is a fiction film production company of global reach based in Buenos Aires.
It specializes in the gestation of films from their early stages, with great performances, amazing pictures and original ideas. It’s a partner in Juan Sasiaín’s feature Choele, produced by Sudestada Cine, which premiered at the Mar del Plata International Film Festival and won the Moviecity Award for Best Film.
He was born in 1978, Argentina. He graduated as “Image and Sound Designer” at the Buenos Aires University. He studied acting, creativity and drama.
Within the audiovisual field, his first outstanding film “La Tigra Chaco” (2009) holds a FIPRESCI award as best Argentine film and Best Women´s Acting Award during the 23rd Mar del Plata International Film Fest; Special Mention of Karlovi Vary Film Fest Jury, The Czech Republic; Audience Award at the Leipzig Fest; Signis Award and Bronze Balance Award at 2010 Pinamar Screen; Special Mention of the French Critique at the Toulouse Fest; Audience Award and Best Direction Award at the Tandil Film Fest; Best Direction Award and Best Photography Direction Award at the 1st Maracanau Film Fest, Fortaleza, Brazil.
His second film "Choele" (2014) with Leo Sbaraglia won the moviecity best film price at Mar del Plata film Festival, Argentina.
“Es Así” (2007, writer, director, actor), “Beto el suertudo” (2004, writer, actor), “Blanco el color más oscuro” (2004, writer, director), “Una buena afeitada” (2002, writer, actor), “Magic Tales” (2002, actor), “Prisionera de mis ojos” (2001, writer, actor) and “Verídicamente Opaco” (1999, writer, actor) are some of his most distinguished works in the theatre field. He worked as advertising creative and advertisement director for Argentina and Venezuela.
He teaches Scriptwriting at the Buenos Aires University, Argentina and Fundacion Villa del Cine, Venezuela.
He works as scriptwriter and acting coach for latinamerican projects.
At present he is developing his new films: "Vaimbora" and "I, the storyteller".
